Cuzco & Machu Picchu

Photographic Fieldwork in the Sacred Valley with renowned, award-winning photographer David Simchock

girlImagine stepping through a threshold of ancient Incan treasures and returning with a fresh, enlightened vision - one you have experienced with your own senses and captured with your own eyes and camera to show the world.

David Simchock is an experienced world traveler and accomplished artist who is as passionate about his craft as he is about his travels. He has documented five continents of cultural images and emotion through his nomadic and creative endeavors and joins us to share the tricks of the travel photography trade. David's specialized program unfolds during a 9-day intensive journey into the Sacred Valley of Peru. Participants will learn hands-on techniques to improve and fine-tune their photography skills, acquiring what it takes to produce compelling photographic images instead of the occasional "good snapshot". Developing visual awareness will be emphasized and the portrayal of "human emotion" and "spirit of place" will be essential elements of the course.
